Thank you for visiting this online gallery. I am a self-taught artist living in South Derbyshire. I like to paint landscapes, birds and animals, particularly when I can place a bird or animal in its natural setting.

I work in several media: acrylics, watercolours, pen and ink, pencil, and sometimes oils. I love the versatility of acrylics and much of my work is now done in this medium. Inspiration comes from observing the natural world when cycling, walking and birdwatching — combining sketches and photographs into finished paintings.
